Who we are: A movement for healing 🤍
Hey there! I’m Bria Bromell Holeman, a licensed therapist who’s been walking this path for quite a while now. Growing up in a Black community, I often felt like there weren’t enough spaces where we could just be—where we could unpack the heavy stuff like trauma, especially the kind that gets passed down through generations. I saw the gaps in education and support, and it hit me hard. How are we supposed to heal if we don’t even know what we’re dealing with?
That’s why I decided to become a therapist, but not just any therapist. I wanted to be someone who truly gets it—who understands what it’s like to carry the weight of history on your shoulders and who’s committed to creating those safe, sacred spaces that we all need. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless women, helping them navigate the complexities of their experiences and find their way to healing.
Harmony Hour for Black Girls is an extension of that work. It’s my way of reaching even more of us—of creating a platform where we can explore, learn, and heal together. This isn’t just a podcast; it’s a movement to break the cycles of trauma that have held us back for too long.
And while I could go on about my degrees, certifications, and the awards on my shelf, what really matters is this: I’m here because I care. I care about you, about our community, and about the future we’re all shaping together. So whether you’re tuning in for the first time or have been with me from the beginning, know that this space is yours too. Let’s keep building, healing, and thriving together.
